Single jersey fabric is a type of knitted fabric commonly used in the production of T-shirts, dresses, and other lightweight garments. Single jersey fabric has a flat appearance on one side and a looped appearance on the other side. The fabric of sweatcloth is smooth, clear, fine texture, smooth feel, and has good extensibility, especially the horizontal extension is larger than the longitudinal extension, but also has good moisture absorption and permeability. The main component of jersey is cotton , but it can also be other blended materials, such as cotton and polyester , cotton and spandex  and so on. Single-sided or double-sided fabric can be woven on a warp or weft knitting machine using flat stitches, loops, ribs, jacquards and other structures. Common types of sweatcloth include bleached sweatcloth, extra white sweatcloth, fine bleached sweatcloth and singed mercerized sweatcloth, etc. According to the treatment process and raw materials used after dyeing and finishing, there are plain sweatcloth, navy stripe sweatcloth and other types.
